It's that time of year! Let's enjoy together on this auspicious day of Holi.

We will meet at the Hindu Center of Virginia to join their celebration of vibrant colors, music, and food.  Following the event we will go to eat food together at a nearby Indian restaurant. We will also visit an Indian grocery store, if anyone wants to join that as well.

Please prepare to get wet and colorful! Colors are natural dyes and will wash out of clothes and shoes but please wear clothes you wouldn't mind being stained. Bring a couple of old towels, a change of clothes, and cash to purchase colors (~$2/bag). Parking at the temple is $5. You will also have the opportunity to enter the Temple for prayer and donation if you choose.

12:30-1:30 Playing Colors

1:30-2 Clean up and travel to restuarent (~5min from the Temple)

2-3:30 Lunch!

We will share the significance of this event during classes the week prior. Please RSVP so we know who to expect. We can help coordinate carpooling if necessary.
